A$AP Ferg, Redline Partner on Bike and Apparel Collection

There is nothing quite like riding your bike through Harlem in the summertime — just ask A$ AP Ferg: The A$ AP Mob member partnered with bike brand Redline to launch a special RL 275 bicycle in yellow and an accompanying capsule collection.
The Redline x Ferg collection, which launches on e-commerce and content platform NTWRK on June 11 and at Stadium Goods in New York City on June 14, consists of the special-edition alloy frame bike that Ferg debuted at Pharrell Williams’ “Something in the Water” festival in April, as well as a yellow hoodie with Redline and Ferg branding and long- and short-sleeve T-shirts featuring similar branding and the line “Ride With the Mob” from the rapper’s song “Plain Jane.”
“It’s literally a walk through memory lane,” Ferg told WWD. “It’s allowing me to give my fans a memory that’s important to me and how I felt during those childhood years.”
Ferg has an affinity for bikes and had a few Redline styles growing up. He even had dreams of designing his own. “I’ve always expressed to Pharrell how much I love bikes and how I wanted to create my own bike for the last five to seven [years],” he explained. “He introduced

A$AP Ferg, Agolde Team on Unisex Collection

For Agolde’s second collaboration with hip-hop artist A$ AP Ferg, the two went unisex and looked beyond denim.
“It’s a true collaboration,” said Agolde creative director Karen Phelps. “In the modern-day approach to how people dress, it’s an eclectic, relevant collection which I feel not only resonates with the brand, but also resonates with the consumer.”
The 12-piece collection for fall includes jeans, graphic T-shirts, a tracksuit and outerwear ranging from military-inspired styles to sherpa jackets. The collection retails from $ 58 to $ 350 and launches exclusively at The Webster Miami and The Webster’s online shop on Thursday.
All of the pieces are made in Los Angeles and involved Ferg visiting the company’s design studio to talk backgrounds and influences with Phelps.
“He was a great partner from an aesthetic point of view and he’s interested in design,” Phelps said. “I’ve worked on a lot of collaborations, so for me it was unique in that Ferg has training in design, so there was definitely creative input, which I think is important.”
Ferg’s father operated a clothing boutique in Harlem while Ferg was growing up. The artist later went on to art school where he studied fashion design and launched the line Devoni Clothing in 2005. He later

A$AP Ferg, Trey Songz Show Love for Public School

This particular fashion week has found many publicists trying their hand at bodyguarding, acting as shouting barricades between their clients and the press. As you can imagine, this presents an obstacle for journalists and a spectacle for anyone watching. But at Public School’s show Sunday morning, celebrities seemed to be unaccompanied by their protectors.
Was it the sleet? Who knows. In any case, celebs were free to roam around Milk Gallery as they pleased.
“I love what [Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne] stand for,” said A$ AP Ferg, shades on and hoodie up, from the front row. “I love that they’re a bunch of New York kids. They started off at Sean John. They mix these Asian influences with all-American. It’s very innovative clothing.”
Ferg shared that he was actually wearing a “girl’s coat” — innovative, indeed. “It could be unisex if you wanted it to be,” he said. “You would never know.”
The rapper said he attended Alexander Wang’s show the night before, adding how “dope” it was that it took place in Harlem.
Trey Songz sat nearby, also hiding behind sunglasses and a hoodie. “I got on this nice fly outfit right here,” he said, showing off his embroidered joggers. “I wanna see more like this, especially in this weather
