The Real Housewives of Orange County star’s son-in-law, Ryan Culberson, recently completed his time serving in the United States Marine Corps. To publicly recognize Ryan, Gunvalson posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute in which she thanked him for his service and sacrifice.

“@ryan_culberson has completed his time in the Marine Corps today. Thank you for your sacrifice so we can live in the land of the free!” Gunvalson, 55, captioned a photo of her daughter, Briana Culberson, standing beside Ryan, who sported his Marine Corps uniform.

RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson Apologies to Shannon Beador for Stress-Induced 40-Lb. Weight Gain

Vicki Gunvalson is offering her former friend Shannon Beador a (small) olive branch.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star publicly apologized to her costar, Beador, who blamed Gunvalson for her recent weight gain.

Beador, 53, announced Monday that she had gained 40 lbs., and said it was from stress brought on by Gunvalson, who claimed that Beador’s husband “beat the s— out of ” during their marriage, which Beador denies.

“That stress caused me to eat more, caused me to drink more, and that’s a huge part of why I gained my weight,” Beador said in the RHOC season 12 premiere.

Gunvalson, 55, apologized for any stress she caused.

“I’m sorry. You know, I’m sorry that you feel that way and I don’t want to cause her any stress … If I’m responsible for it, I’m really, really sorry,” Gunvalson said on Entertainment Tonight.

“I don’t want anything bad for Shannon and David. I actually want them to have a happy, healthy marriage. I told her that from the very beginning when she confided in me on their situation. I said, ‘Make your marriage work.’ So I’m sorry. If I’m to blame for it, I’m sorry.”

Beador decided to address her weight gain to her followers before the show aired in the hopes of stopping any rumors or mean comments.

“So let’s just get to it. Yes, I have gained weight. A lot of weight. About 40 pounds to be exact,” she wrote. “I have not had plastic surgery or fillers, it’s just plain and simple weight gain. There are multiple factors that have contributed to my size and it will be addressed this season on the show.”

“To those people who intend to write cruel or derogatory comments to me, I want to let you know you will be blocked and the comment deleted. Gaining weight and trying to take it off is a struggle that most women will face at some point in their lives. I am hopeful that my fans and viewers of the show will be supportive of my journey.”

Tamra Judge on Final Straws with RHOC Frenemy Vicki Gunvalson: ‘She’s Done Too Much Damage to Me’

The possibility that Real Housewives of Orange County costars Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson will make amends seems more unlikely than ever.

“She’s done too much damage to me,” Judge, 49, told PEOPLE Now on Monday. “Personally, she has no boundaries and so that’s where you’re like, ‘Is that the kind of friend I want?’ ”

Gunvalson, 55, concluded last season on the outs with the other women of the O.C., with longtime on-again/off-again bestie Judge reaching her breaking point when rumors began to swirl about her husband Eddie’s sexuality.

“For everything that I’ve gone through, you know, my marriage is so sacred to me,” said Judge, 49. “For Vicki to insult my marriage like that like it’s a fraud, that’s what hurt me.”

Beyond her personal grievances with Gunvaslon, Judge takes the rumors in stride, noting her husband is a “hot guy, someone says he’s gay — happens all the time!”

“Our relationship is really easy,” she said. “We’re great friends, we’re great lovers … we just have fun together.”

Judge — whose tagline for the new season is: “I’m pint-sized, baptized and highly prized” — said she made an effort to fix things between with Gunvalson, but that it’s a challenge to get along with her.

“I tried my hardest, I really did,” she said. “You can make fun of my outfit or call me ugly, whatever, but you don’t go that low.”

Season 12 of RHOC sees the return of Lydia McLaughlin, the absence of Heather Dubrow and the addition of newbie Peggy SulahianShannon Beador, Kelly Dodd and Meghan King Edmonds return with Judge and Gunvalson.

The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres Monday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
