Sergio Garcia rakes away tap-in before Matt Kuchar can give it to him, loses hole in brutal fashion

At the par-3 seventh hole, trailing Kuchar 1 down, Garcia had a seven-foot par putt left to win the hole after Kuchar was in for bogey. Garcia didn't make a great stroke, and his putt missed on the left side, coming to rest an inch (maybe even less) from the cup. We've seen guys not give short putts on Saturday due to the windy conditions, understandable given the fact that when there is still meat left on the bone, the wind can play a huge factor.

2-Month-Old Nearly Loses Toes After Strand of Mom’s Hair Cuts Off His Circulation for Hours

A 10-week-old boy is recovering after nearly losing four of his toes when a strand of his mother’s hair became tangled on his foot, cutting off the baby’s circulation for at least 12 hours, his mother says.

“It was a horrible experience,” Alex Upton, 26, said of the ordeal that landed her infant son, Ezra, in the hospital last month.

Upton, of Paignton, England, said she was awakened by Ezra’s cries, and became confused when the baby wouldn’t drink any milk. Then, Upton said, she noticed that four toes on Ezra’s foot were red and swollen.

The concerned mom of two looked closer and saw that a single strand of her long, brown hair had become wrapped around his toes, and was cutting off the baby’s blood circulation.

“It must have been on there for 12 to 14 hours because I only noticed it in the morning,” Upton said. “I pulled at it and realized how tightly it’d wrapped around his toes. It’d tangled around three or four of them. I felt awful.”

Upton tried for more than 15 minutes to remove the tangled hair, noting that she used a pair of tweezers to ultimately cut the strand away. She took the boy to a local hospital where a doctor gave her antibacterial cream for Ezra’s damaged toes.

Upton said she feared that Ezra’s toes would have been removed had she not found the hair in time.

“I’m normally really safety conscious with the kids, but I had never expected this to happen to us,” she said, noting that Ezra is back to his “normal” self.

“My advice to any parents would be when you’re changing or putting on socks, or even getting them out of the bath, check thoroughly and make sure you turn clothing inside out first to remove any stray hair.”

A hair tourniquet can occur when babies even just a strand of hair ends up in places like a diaper, or sock without a parent noticing, according to Today. The strand can wrap around a baby’s toe, finger, or umbilical stump so tight that it can cut through the skin and cut off blood circulation.

“Hair easily gets stuck in things when they’ve been in the washing machine too, so it’s important to check,” Upton said.

Delphine Delafon Loses Rights to Her Name — to Former Intern

NAME GAME: Delphine Delafon has lost control of her namesake company.
The designer on Thursday sent out an e-mail announcing that her company is in takeover proceedings in a commercial court.
“I am no longer the designer nor the director of the company despite it still carrying my name and will continue to exist,” she said, adding that she was pursuing new adventures.
In a separate e-mail, Delafon told WWD that she had been planning to put things on hold and pursue a freelance career after her partner left and negotiations with a potential investor failed to bear fruit. The company had hit financial troubles and was being liquidated when a former intern bought it through the Paris Commercial Court without telling her, she said, without disclosing the former intern’s name.
“[It’s a] really a crazy story. And now she has my name,” exclaimed the designer whose fate echoes that of designers including Chantal Thomass and Jil Sander.
Known for her mixed-media bucket-bag pouches on twisted chains, the Parisian bag designer’s business started organically seven years ago when she began making bags for herself and started receiving orders from friends. She added a clothing capsule in 2016.

This Cheesy Chorizo Dip Will Be There to Console You If Your Team Loses

This football season, we’ve partnered with Taste of the NFL and their favorite tailgating experts to share great game-day recipes for an even greater cause.  Join these chefs in raising awareness and funds for hunger relief across the country by taking the Kick Hunger Challenge with your favorite football team and making a donation to their local food bank. And be sure to check PEOPLE.com every Thursday for a new game day recipe from your favorite celebrity chefs. Here, Aarón Sánchez, Chef/Partner of Johnny Sánchez in New Orleans, shares his recipe for his Chile Con Queso and Chorizo.

I love cooking around game day, and there are quite a few really fun stories that have come out of our festivities, but I think there is one instance that stands out to me the most.

It is a fond memory of mine where we were cooking with a bunch of my chef colleagues in the New York Giants parking lot one day. They happened to be playing against the New Orleans Saints, who are my favorite NFL team, especially now that I live in New Orleans. Everyone was crowded around tailgating and having a great time eating and drinking. We were making Cajun food in the parking lot in New Jersey, frying beignets and making gumbo, serving crawfish, making new friends through food—all in enemy territory.

That is one of the truly beautiful things about cooking, it is so unifying; it didn’t matter which team you were there to support, we all have to eat.

For more exclusive tailgating recipes, follow People Food on Facebook.

WATCH THIS: Take 5: Five-Ingredient French Onion Soup-Stuffed Patty Melts

Diane Loses Everything In First Official Trailer For ‘The Good Fight’

The first official trailer for “The Good Fight” is here with a heavy dose of legal drama to fill the void left by its predecessor, “The Good Wife.”

The roughly two-minute spot follows Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) as she learns all her retirement savings have been lost as the result of a massive Ponzi scheme. Making matters worse, it seems her goddaughter Maia (Rose Leslie) might be connected to it.

If we know anything about Diane, though, it’s that she won’t go down without a fight. And based on the title of this show, that’s precisely what fans are going to get.

The 10-episode series will focus on Diane and Maia after they’ve been ousted from Lockhart & Lee and join forces with Lucca Quinn (”Good Wife” alum Cush Jumbo) at a new firm, according to Uproxx. Justin Bartha, Delroy Lindo and Erica Tazel are also part of the cast.

Since the series will air on the new CBS All Access digital platform, the writers were given a lot more freedom in terms of the dialogue — specifically in regard to cursing. By the looks of the uncensored trailer above, there will be plenty. (There’s also a censored version here.)

The series premieres on Feb. 19 and will only air on CBS All Access.

Emotional Groom Loses It When He Sees His Bride Coming Down The Aisle

When groom Conner Courtney saw his bride Hannah make her way down the aisle, he was overcome with an intense rush of emotion, breaking down in tears.

The groom’s mom Kara recorded the powerful moment from the couple’s wedding earlier this month, and uploaded it to Facebook where it has been viewed more than 1.8 million times at the time of publication.

“I had to turn my back and breathe or I was going to lose it once the music started,” Conner told The Huffington Post. “I told Hannah’s brother [who was officiating the wedding] to tell me when she was there so I could turn around. The moment I saw her was like seeing my entire life right in front of me.”

“I’m usually good with handling my emotions, but after seeing her and her smile, it was tears of pure happiness and a radiance of love,” the groom said. “I wanted to express that to her, and that’s how it came out.”

Conner and Hannah — who first met at the gym in 2013 — tied the knot at the bride’s uncle’s home in Arcadia, Oklahoma on June 13 in a rustic-style celebration. Hannah told HuffPost that she “figured [she] would get a few tears out of Conner” at the ceremony, but was still taken aback by his passionate reaction.

“All I could do was smile the biggest smile and cry the happiest tears,” she said. “The look on Conner’s face made my heart feel like it was going to burst because I felt so full of love. But when I look back at that day now, I really am not surprised by his reaction because he shows me that much love every day.”

Watch the video above. Fast-forward to the 1:00 mark to see the big moment.

Principal Loses Job Over Misspelled School Sign

When a New Jersey public school principal was reassigned last week, the writing was on the wall.

Actually, it was on the school sign — which was misspelled at least twice.

Antoinette Young, the principal of Public School Number 20 in Paterson, New Jersey, was demoted to a vice principal position at another school after parents discovered a sign in front of the school’s side entrance had two serious spelling errors that went unnoticed for more than a week.

December was misspelled as “Dicember” and reports was spelled incorrectly as “reepor.” The number ‘1’ was also placed backwards on the sign, CBS New York reports.

The typo-riddled sign was up for days before school board member Corey Teague posted photos on social media.

“If this is how the administration takes care of signage how can we expect the students to do better? We must be held to a higher standard,” Teague wrote in an email accompanying the photos, NorthJersey.com reports.

Officials said a custodian was responsible for the sign’s spelling errors and added that the sign was placed near an entrance not normally used by staff, according to NJ.com.

After Teague’s photo of the misspelled school sign went viral, officials reassigned Young to a vice principal position at another school.

Boris Simon, the school’s current vice principal, will serve as principal in the interim.

District officials would not confirm the botched sign was the sole reason for the demotion.

Young had been principal at the 465-student school less than two years and was already under a “Corrective Action Plan” designed to address shortcomings in her performance, according to the New York Daily News.

Theater: Fuerza Bruta Loses Its “Wayra” With New Show

WAYRA — FUERZA BRUTA * 1/2 out of ****
DARYL ROTH THEATER

If you’ve never seen any non-traditional theater, no Cirque Du Soleil or the countless circus troupes that have come in its wake, if you’ve never been to a rave or a spectacle like Stomp and Blue Man Group, I suppose Wayra might have some modest appeal as novelty.

Actually, I’m a newbie, somehow never having been to a Fuerza Bruta event before. So even though this edition reportedly recycles quite a few stunts from previous FB shows of the past, it was all new to me. Nonetheless, the almost determined lack of imagination in each bit (calling them skits would be pushing it), the avoidance of almost anything resembling choreography or humor, the refusal to do anything other than the minimal makes the evening a joyless affair for all but the most un-jaded 17 year old.

It begins and ends with anonymous tribalistic, techno music followed by a group of performers who float over the crowd in a big clump, waving and yelling enthusiastically while swinging back and forth. Though there is nothing challenging in the stunts performed (this is not a display of gymnastic or acrobatic skills of any note), it does demand the cast be athletic and energetic and they certainly did their best to rouse the crowd into a fun atmosphere. Still, this bit set the tone. Like the worst Saturday Night Live skits of the past 20 years, it offers some sliver of an idea (in this case, the cast dressed in “regular” clothes swinging out over the crowd) but instead of developing the idea and coming up with twists or a way to up the ante, they just repeat it a few times and then stop.

Other bits occur. Two women doing wire work (arguably the most challenging of the evening) run across a curtained wall encircling the audience, screaming and yelling as if something momentous were about to occur. They do a few somersaults, each one running to one end and then the other. Like most everything else in the show and what you see in the trailer above, it looks vaguely cool for a moment until you realize…that’s it.

The Man On The Treadmill is apparently a perennial feature and it comes the closest to what Wayra might have been if it actually tried to be something. Nothing actually happens but it does feel as if the skit progresses toward something. A man with a really bad commute is walking determinedly on a treadmill. It speeds up and he keeps going with Buster Keaton-like determination. Attendants place chairs and tables on the treadmill which he dodges while moving forward, always forward. People jump on the platform and he bumps and dodges past them. Eventually, a “brick wall” of cardboard boxes appears but he bursts through that too. He’s shot in the chest, but even this doesn’t stop him. On he goes. As with so much of the show, once I got the idea, I found more pleasure in observing how the technical team kept things running smoothly than in the actual skit. Still, this was definitely as close to art as they got, though it served mostly to put the rest of the show in stark contrast.

A pool interlude was a happy oasis in an evening that at least pretended to create an aura of tension and mayhem. In this bit, a plastic sort of swimming pool descends from the ceiling. We look up through the bottom and see a woman lit up. Again, it looks sort of cool. A paradise ensues, with four or five women playing around in the water, giggling and laughing and sliding. Here especially the lack of any visual imagination was painful. Literally all they do is take turns splashing through a puddle in the middle, with one woman sliding in from one corner and then another sliding in from another corner. It’s the sort of thing kids would do automatically and about just as much fun to watch.

Also, there was a creepy disconnect in this piece: it’s both “innocent” and salacious. Either would be fine. But if you want it to be innocent, don’t ask the women to wear clothing that’s revealing and if you want them to be Playboy Playmate naughty, don’t ask them to giggle like schoolgirls. Unless of course you’re going for a vibe that would appeal to traveling businessmen. (And my female guest wondered if the show paid for all these women to get bikini waxed regularly.) Worst of all, while this skit was briefly interesting visually (most were), it went on a little too long with no change in the tedious staging. Then, remarkably, once it was over it essentially repeated itself all over again, far outstaying its welcome.

Another nadir was the dance-off that took place on an anonymous set wheeled out towards the audience. The unflagging cast was living it up, as if having the time of their lives, yelling and whooping and sort of dancing in unison. Still yelling, they tossed plastic chairs with abandon (but oh so carefully so the attendants could catch them or keep them from sliding towards the crowd and then feed the chairs back up to the cast). Then they went to town on cardboard boxes and flimsy squares that they smooshed over their heads as the tiles burst into confetti of sorts. All of this was clear after about 30 seconds, but it was the entire extent of the bit. They jump up and down, yell gleefully and toss cardboard boxes off the stage onto the floor and then dance around and do it again. A certain tension developed as you wondered if this could possibly be it for the stunt. It was.

It was topped when the show went to elaborate lengths to pull a plastic see-through ceiling of sorts over the audience with an opening or two so cast members could peek down at us (gleefully of course). A long tube was attached to one opening and the guy from the treadmill bit was lowered down into it while a fan created a sort of wind tunnel effect and bits of paper swirled around him. Despite the trappings, all this amounted to was a guy hanging motionless from the ceiling via a wire.

Yes, he was inserted into a sort of condom-like wind tunnel that blew his hair back, but really he was just hanging there for a few minutes, stationary and alone, doing nothing, accomplishing nothing, with only the illusion of something happening taking place around him, scraps of confetti twisting past our hero like the detritus from a parade that passed by long before we arrived.
