The Internet’s favorite hot math teacher, Pietro Boselli, has gone from impressing lecture halls with his biceps to landing the cover of Attitude magazine.
One of Boselli’s students at University College London made the connection back in March, and a quick dig through social media confirms that Boselli is both brawny and brainy. Per his LinkedIn account, he graduated with honors and holds engineering degrees, while Instagram confirms he’s no stranger to the runway and has competed in the bodybuilding world.
But as proof that being that ridiculously good at taking selfies isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, Boselli has spoken out about the downside to being so attractive. “Fellow professors and students have taken me less seriously because of my modelling career, so much so that I’ve felt ashamed of it at times,” he told Grazia, saying he related to Kit Harington’s comments about feeling uncomfortable with being viewed as a heartthrob. “People generally assume you can’t be intelligent if you’re a model. I was so scared of being undermined or taken less seriously than other students when at university that I kept my modeling career under wraps. I canceled my contract with the agency, took my pictures offline, and erased my modelling experience from my CV.”
Pietro, trust us: Being crazy handsome and super intelligent is not a bad thing.
