After Lawrence and Maroney previously stepped out in the Big Apple together in early June, a source told PEOPLE “they looked very comfortable.”

“She is smiling like I have never seen her do with any of her previous boyfriends,” the source continued, adding that the pair have “great chemistry” and were “holding hands and laughing” while spending time together. The insider also added that the couple had been together since early May.

Maroney works in the New York art scene and reps clients like Lena Dunham‘s artist father Carroll. Prior to her relationship with Maroney, Lawrence dated mother! director Darren Aronofsky. Lawrence and the filmmaker dated for just over a year after first getting together in September 2016 once filming on the thriller had ended.

While the pair called it quits in November 2017, Lawrence says there’s no bad blood between the former flames, which she proved in May when she presented an award to Aronofsky, referring to her ex as “my very good friend.”

“I’m friends with all my exes, actually,” Lawrence said in February, during an interview on WTF with Marc Maron. “For the most part, yeah, I have a theory: I think it’s because I’m blunt. I don’t think that you can have any sort of bad relationship with anybody if you’re just blunt.”

The Booksmart director and Chief Brand Activist for True Botanicals recently told PEOPLE that she’s deliberately making a point not to force her son into enjoying gender-specific activities and colors.

“ loves Moana, obviously, and when he thinks about Moana, he thinks of himself as Moana,” explained Wilde. “I love hearing him sing … it’s the best when you can watch them singing in the backseat of your car, and he’s just like, ‘I wish I could be the perfect daughter!’ And he’s just belting it out.”

She continued, “That’s so great because at a certain age he’s going to be like, ‘Well, I can’t, that’s … ‘You know, and he still doesn’t judge things like pink, or dance or gymnastics. These aren’t things that are gender-specific yet.”

“I don’t know why at a certain point we tell them that’s for boys and that’s for girls, but I’m going to do my best to not force that delineation,” Wilde added.

What Happened to Brandy Odom? Mystery Surrounds Nude Body Parts Found in N.Y.C. Park

The dismembered remains of a woman found Monday in a wooded area of a New York City park have been identified as belonging to 26-year-old Brandy Odom, PEOPLE confirms.

Odom’s naked torso, head and limbs were discovered throughout Brooklyn’s Canarsie Park by a neighborhood resident, an N.Y.C. police spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

On Wednesday, investigators recovered a bloody saw from a trash can in the park, sources told local TV station WABC.

It remains unclear how Odom died, but authorities told the station and other local media that they believe her remains were cut up and dispersed after she was killed elsewhere.

On Tuesday, Odom’s family learned of her death while watching local news, according to the New York Times. That’s when her grandmother saw that the body in the park had the same tattoo as her granddaughter: the word “chocolate” above her left breast.

Worried, she called Odom’s mother, Nicole Odom, who went down to the precinct and confirmed her daughter’s identity, the Times reports.

“Everybody loved her,” Nicole told WABC. “I can’t even see how one person would want to do this to her. Brandy was friendly with everybody.”

“Whoever did this to my daughter — I might not know who did it, the police might not know who did it, but the great God up above knows who did it,” Nicole said. “And you will be dealt with for your sins that you caused.”

Patricia Smith, who found Brandy dead, told News 12 Brooklyn that she was walking her dog when she saw the torso partially covered with leaves.

“As I went in the path and looked to the left, I saw something resembling a garbage bag,” Smith said. “But as I went by and looked back and looked again, I realized it was a body that was dismembered and then I just took off running.”

Brandy, who was from N.Y.C., had worked as a security guard and wanted to become a city school safety agent, her mother told the Times. The pair last spoke in March.

“She had ambitions, she had a game plan,” a neighbor told the paper. “She wanted to work and take care of herself.”

Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-577-8477. A $ 2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in Brandy’s death.

The actress welcomed her first child with husband David Cross, who she married in 2012, in February 2017. She even received a letter written by former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to the newborn.

“Dear Marlow: Happy Birthday!” the note read. “Your birth has been a source of great joy for your parents, Amber and David, and your vast community of admirers and champions. I send my best wishes to you for a lifetime of amazing accomplishments and adventures, full of love, learning, and friendship. With warm regards, I am Sincerely yours, Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

Earlier this year, she met up with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Blake Lively and Alexis Bledel to celebrate America Ferrera expecting her first child.

“Starting the New Year off with blessings from my Sisterhood. We’ve got work to do for the next generation.
