The Wing Releases ‘Big Little Lies’ Product Collaboration

Women’s coworking space The Wing is adding a product component to its partnership with HBO, marking the network’s “Big Little Lies” season two release.
The company has collaborated with three female-led companies on accessories and clothing inspired by the show’s “backdrop of the ocean, the theme of healing through exercise and the unbreakable friendship or ‘circle of trust’ that the women (in the show) form with one another,” according to a statement.
Outdoor Voices’ exercise gear, priced at $ 45 to $ 85; Lizzie Fortunato earrings for $ 150, and a Cuyana belt bag for $ 140 comprise the capsule collection, which will be exclusively available for purchase at The Wing’s SoHo and West Hollywood locations as well as through its e-commerce site. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the National Network to End Domestic Violence.

‘Tis the Season: Lifetime Releases Holiday Movies Lineup — Including a One Tree Hill Reunion!

Christmas is coming early to Lifetime viewers this year!

The network announced Monday that it’s kicking off the holiday season by releasing its It’s a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, featuring 23 movies (14 all-new original movies and nine acquired film). But the good news doesn’t stop there — One Tree Hill fans will receive the gift of a cast reunion when the Lifetime special ‘Tis the Season: A One Trill Hill Cast Reunion airs on Nov. 22.

Kicking off Nov. 21 with a special week featuring five nights of premieres, each week of the holiday season will feature new movies every Friday through Sunday.

Not only is Lifetime presenting audiences will a magical lineup of holiday movies, but the network is also serving up more reunions, too! In addition to One Tree Hill, cast members from Sister, Sister, 7th Heaven, The Cosby Show and A Different World will star together in some of the new premieres.

Aspinal of London Releases Spring Lineup and Giles Deacon Capsule  

DOUBLE TAKE: Aspinal of London unveiled its spring collection alongside a 25-piece capsule in collaboration with Giles Deacon, consisting of the brand’s top handbag and accessories sellers.
The Regent Street flagship came alive with Deacon’s hand-drawn illustrations, depicting the women of Aspinal seen through his eyes, and these were blown up as giant cardboard cutouts and plastered across the shop floor.
The colorful print was adorned on the brand’s mini Trunk bag, the Regent tote bag and the Micro Lottie style, while the best-selling Hepburn bag featured a single girl embossed on the front.
These Aspinal ladies consisted of an international cast, “yet still very quintessentially English,” but with a more global appeal, highlighting the brand’s overseas expansion plans in the Middle East and China.
“Giles didn’t want to reinvent the wheel in terms of product, so there are no new bag styles and he chose the ones most synonymous to the brand,” a spokeswoman said.
These handbags lined the walls of the store and were perched on display tables while scarves embellished with the print hung off display bars or sat neatly folded in drawers.

ALL SMILES: Three royal wedding photos shot by Alexi Lubomirski have been released by Kensington Palace following Saturday’s nuptials at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor.
Two of the photos were taken in The Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle following the post-ceremony carriage procession around the town. A third photo, a black-and-white shot of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex alone, was taken on the East Terrace of Windsor Castle.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their wedding on Saturday. MANY HATS — To launch its new shoe, called Arkyn, Adidas staged a discussion centered on women and the different hats they wear, the latest example of how sneaker brands are muscling into female territory.
Kendall Jenner showed up at the end of the conversation, which took place in a back room of the Adidas flagship in the Marais district of Paris, with a small gathering of a mostly French and largely female audience.
Jenner’s arrival was announced by a noisy crowd outside the store that had gathered for a glimpse of the model and social media star.
“I know how to say bonjour,” she said. “That’s pretty much it,” she added, referring to her French language skills.
She joined Daniëlle Cathari, a 23-year-old Dutch designer who is working with Adidas Originals, launching the second drop next week on the small stage.

Off-White’s Virgil Abloh is jumping back into the sunglasses market, and this time in a big way: Abloh is collaborating with Sunglass Hut to launch a capsule collection.
The designer already has numerous collaborations under his belt, including Off-White c/o Jimmy Choo for spring; Nike c/o Virgil Abloh the Ten, and Off-White c/o Warby Parker in July 2017, which was his first foray into the eyewear market. But the partnership with Sunglass Hut is a first for his brand in terms of size and scope.
“Sunglass Hut and Luxottica offer Off-White exposure to a wide audience that might not know about the brand,” Abloh said when asked about the reason to partner with the eyewear company. Sunglass Hut offers Abloh a reach on a global scale, including Asia, Mexico, Australia, the U.K. and the U.S.
“I’ve always thought of sunglasses as an important accessory in a fashion context. It’s a small object that can give you the nuances of a brand’s opinion on design,” Abloh said. “For me, I was looking to incorporate classic shapes from the past with a youthful modern elegance. All lenses are flat, which gives each style the same edge.”

IMG Releases NYFW: The Shows Roster

IMG has released its preliminary February 2018 schedule for New York Fashion Week: The Shows, taking place Feb. 8-14 at Spring Studios, with additional shows at Industria and elsewhere.
For the first time, Spring will serve as the centralized hub for NYFW: The Shows-related activity, including runway shows and presentations. Several of the IMG-affiliated designers are showing in offsite locations.
Separately, designers who aren’t showing as part of NYFW: The Shows, such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Victoria Beckham, Alexander Wang, Carolina Herrera and Vera Wang, continue to show in venues all over the city.
Last season, the main location for NYFW: The Shows was Skylight Clarkson Sq, after Skylight at Moynihan Station was no longer available. Those two venues had been the main venues since fall 2015. The spaces at Spring Studios include Gallery 1, which can seat 650 people and Gallery II, which seats 400 people.  Some 64 designers are presently on the NYFW: The Shows roster.

Forever 21 Releases Details of Security Breach

Forever 21 said Thursday it is tightening security efforts at its store cash wraps following its disclosure last month of a breach at some of its U.S. stores.
Details of the security breach, which was first disclosed publicly by the company in November, did not include how many stores within the U.S. were impacted or in what states. The retailer said it is continuing to look at whether any of its overseas stores were impacted since those doors run off of point-of-sale systems different from its domestic locations.
Forever 21 does business in 57 countries via a fleet of more than 815 stores.
The company said encryption technology at some cash registers had been turned off in certain cases and malware installed by criminals looking to mine the system for customer payment data. Forever 21 confirmed the malware was able to access cardholder names in some instances but in most cases was only able to obtain card numbers, expirations and verification codes.
The vulnerability in the system occurred between April 3 and Nov. 18 of this year with each store impacted by the breach subject to varying lengths of exposure ranging from days to the entire April-November period, Forever 21 said. The company’s investigation

Copdate Aims to Make Sneaker Releases More Democratic

Andrew Raisman, who used to own the Montreal-based Fidel Clothing, wanted to merge his love of sneakers with his app development experience, so he launched Copdate, an app that allows customers to reserve a digital spot in line for sneaker releases instead of camping out on the street.
“We wanted to address issues in the sneaker world from the consumer and retail side,” said Raisman. “Sneaker releases are presenting pain points for the entire industry.”
The Copdate app works like this: customers download the app, follow participating retailers on the app — Copdate partners with mostly specialty sneaker retailers including Extra Butter, Proper, Packer and Burn Rubber — and users will receive a notification when reservations for releases become available. The user can then cop the item and if they win, they will be notified with a reservation number, which they use to pick up the sneakers in the store. Raisman said using Copdate does not guarantee that the customer will obtain the shoes, but it can make the pool of interested buyers smaller by limiting the raffle to certain geographic locations.
“The cycle of a sneaker release is something like this: the shoe is leaked, then it’s seeded to celebrities,” said Raisman.

Chambre Syndicale Releases Temporary Schedule

SHOW BUSINESS: Christian Dior will figure among the opening acts of the upcoming women’s Paris Fashion Week, according to a temporary schedule issued by the Chambre Syndicale on Monday. The fashion house, which traditionally shows on the Friday, will present at 2:30 p.m. on the first day, Sept. 26.
As reported, Lacoste will be shifting to Paris from New York to celebrate its 85th anniversary, marking the brand’s first women’s runway show in the city in which it is based, with Thom Browne and Joseph Altuzarra also swapping the Big Apple for the City of Light. (Browne, who already presents his men’s shows in Paris, is to be among the closing acts on Oct. 3; Altuzarra is due to show on Sept. 30.)

The Big 4: Kensington Palace Releases Birthday Portrait of Prince George

GETTING OLDER: Prince George has turned four, and Kensington Palace has released a portrait of the royal dressed in a collarless blue and white pin-striped shirt by Amaia.
Chris Jackson — the husband of Kate Middleton’s personal assistant Natasha Archer — took the photo in June at Kensington Palace. The tot recently joined his family on a weeklong official tour of Poland and Germany aimed at smoothing relations with Europe as Brexit negotiations begin.
His wasn’t the only picture that made headlines in the U.K. over the weekend. Princes William and Harry have shared three personal photos from Princess Diana’s album that will be featured in the 90-minute documentary “Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.”
The film, produced by Oxford Film and Television, has been made to mark the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death in August. It looks at her family life and public service, and will air on ITV on July 24.
In one photo, a young Prince Harry is pictured smiling as his mother hugs him, while another shows Diana holding Prince William in her arms while she’s pregnant with Harry. The princes will also be taking part in a BBC documentary about Diana and plan to unveil a statue of

Mariah Carey Releases Rainbow Merch In Support Of The LGBTQ Community

All Mariah Carey wants for Pride Month is to support the LGBTQ community.

The singer released a limited-edition collection of rainbow-themed merchandise on Thursday in celebration of the month. The Mariah Pride tanks, sweaters, phone cases and sweatpants are all available online, and many feature a picture fans of her 1999 album “Rainbow” will find very familiar. 

A portion of the proceeds from the gear will go to GLAAD, according to the collection’s website. 

Carey has been promoting the merchandise via social media, posting several photos of the gear and one of herself wearing a tank with her likeness.

Mitchell & Ness Releases Swingman Collection

Mitchell & Ness is trying out a new collection.
The retro sportswear brand, which holds an eight-year licensing agreement with the NBA, will release the Swingman assortment. The collection consists of basketball jerseys and matching basketball shorts from former and current players.
“The Nineties are trending with oversized clothing and retro footwear, and sports apparel is the top complement for that trend,” said William Warren Jr., marketing manager at Mitchell & Ness. “Throwback jerseys have been very popular again since the reboom in 2013.”
The collection includes rookie jerseys from NBA’s current star players such as LeBron James and Stephen Curry, in addition to pieces from former basketball legends such as Magic Johnson and Allen Iverson. The jerseys retail for $ 130 and the shorts are priced at $ 75. They will be available this week on Mitchell & Ness’ e-commerce site, its flagship store in Philadelphia and select retailers.

Hacker Releases New ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Episodes After Demanding Ransom

The fifth season of “Orange Is the New Black” isn’t supposed to hit Netflix until June 9, but a hacker who claims to have the entire season has gone through with a threat to release them early.

The unidentified hacker or hacking group, operating under the name The Dark Overlord, demanded the streaming service pay an unspecified ransom sum or else the episodes will be leaked. Variety reports that the hacker uploaded the first 10 of 13 episodes to Pirate Bay early Saturday, through multiple media outlets were unable to verify their authenticity.

The hacker initially uploaded the supposed first episode, and then on Saturday posted the following message online: “We’ve decided to release Episodes 2-10 of Orange Is The New Black Season 5 after many lengthy discussions at the office where alcohol was present. Do note that there are 13 episodes. However, we were so early when we acquired the copies that post hadn’t gotten around to Episodes 11-13. Perhaps Netflix will consider releasing the season earlier now that the cat’s out of the bag?”

A Netflix spokesperson confirmed to HuffPost that it was aware of the situation, noting that a small California-based production vendor that several major TV studios use experienced a security breach. Authorities are looking into the situation.

Comedian Releases Song To Find Her Own Rachel Maddow

Sure, Rachel Maddow has plenty of fans (and haters), but one particular fan has written a special song about her.

Comedian and musician Lane Moore tweeted a roughly two-minute ode to the host of MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” on Monday afternoon.

“Don’t care if you’re a girl or a guy; you could look a little like her,” Moore croons. “Just want to hear your political opinions and ride off into the night. Be my Rachel Maddow, be my Rachel Maddow … ”

Of course the song references Maddow getting access to President Donald Trump’s tax returns — at least, a 1040 form from 2005 — which dominated the news last week.

“There’s so many things I would like to tell you, but I can’t find the words. We could spend our weekends with you, analyzing tax returns,” sings Moore.

Moore told Mediaite that she wrote the song last Friday “after the hook popped into her head.”

“I just wanted to make something sweet and catchy and fun because it’s 2017 and we need more of that,” she told the publication. “I also liked the idea that your own personal Rachel Maddow could be a man or a woman or anywhere in between because it’s more about the idea of wanting to be with someone super smart, funny, and capable, who also happens to look really A+ in menswear.”

Tilda Swinton Releases Email Exchange With Margaret Cho About Whitewashing In ‘Doctor Strange’

Everyone in Hollywood has apparently learned a lesson from the Taylor Swift/Kim Kardashian Snapchat debacle of 2016: always keep your receipts.

On Wednesday, comedian Margaret Cho revealed that Tilda Swinton reached out over email to discuss the controversy surrounding her casting as the Ancient One in “Doctor Strange,” a character who is a Tibetan man in comic book canon. Swinton’s casting was immediately met with resistance from the Asian and Asian-American community, which has historically been erased and stereotyped on screen due to Hollywood selecting white actors to play roles intended for them.

“Tilda eventually emailed me and she said that she didn’t understand why people were so mad about ‘Doctor Strange’ and she wanted to talk about it, and wanted to get my take on why all the Asian people were mad,” Cho told actor Bobby Lee on his podcast TigerBelly. “It was so weird.”

Cho and Swinton evidently had a “long discussion” about whitewashing in the film industry, which the “Snowpiercer” actress asked her not make public. The conversation struck an uncomfortable note for Cho, an unapologetic critic of Hollywood’s representational deficiencies, who in her own words, ended up feeling like a “house Asian.” 

In response to Cho’s interview, Swinton’s team released the entire unedited email exchange on Friday for “the opportunity to clarify and with all good wishes to all,” according to Vulture. Later that night, Cho made a statement reiterating that “Asian actors should play Asian roles,” but writing that she remains a huge fan of Swinton’s.

The five emails between the two actresses were written in May 2016 months before the premiere of “Doctor Strange,” as the backlash to Swinton’s casting gained traction. You can read them below:

Well, what do you know so far? I can tell you from my perspective what’s happening!

The character you played in Dr Strange was originally written as a Tibetan man and so there’s a frustrated population of Asian Americans who feel the role should have gone to a person of Asian descent. 

The largerpart of the debate has to do with the ‘whitewashing’ of Asian and Asian Americans in film. Our stories are told by white actors over and over again and we feel at a loss to know how to cope with it. 

Protest seems to be the only solution- we just want more representative images of ourselves in film. TV is getting better in terms of diversity but film is lagging behind.

Here’s the situation I reckon Marvel was in. The old comic books from way back when are stuffed with stereotypes that we could all find offensive for any number of reasons. 

The film – like any film adaptation – is a riff on the books. The Ancient One may have been written as a Tibetan man in the comics, but Marvel, in a conscious effort to shake up stereotypes, wanted to avoid tired cliché. They cast Chiwetel Ejiofor as the second lead – a white Transylvanian in the books. And wrote a significant Asian character to be played by Benedict Wong.

With The Ancient One (the ‘wise old Eastern geezer’ Fu Manchu type in the book), wanting to switch up the gender (another diversity department) and not wanting to engage with the old ‘Dragon Lady’ trope, they chose to write the character as being of (ancient) Celtic origin and offered that role to me. Presumably on Ancient grounds. I accepted happily, impressed that, for once, they aimed to disrupt the ‘wisdom must be male’ never-ending story – and, by the way, for once, wanting to feature a woman who’s a badass, over 26 and not simply bursting out of a bikini.

The biggest irony about this righteous protest targeting this particular film is the pains the makers went to to avoid it.

A  – personal – irony to my being even remotely involved in this controversy is what I stand up for and always have.  Whether it is challenging the idea of what women look like, or how any of us live our lives, or how we educate our children, diversity is pretty much my comfort zone.  The idea of being caught on the wrong side of this debate is a bit of a nightmare to me. 

I am as sick as anybody at the lack of a properly diverse cinematic universe. Pretty much sick of the Anglophone world in general, sick of all the men’s stories, sick of all the symmetrical features and Mattel-inspired limbs..

I’m a Scottish woman of 55 who lives in the Highlands. There’s precious little projected on contemporary cinema screens that means a great deal to my life, if truth be told.

So

How best might we focus this thing?  To offer intelligent and empowered thinking..  And see something constructive coming out of this moment? 

Ducking the issue is not what I am about.  I want to meet it, but, if possible, move things forward by how I meet it.

I realise, as far as I am concerned, this possibly means saying nothing:  so far I have attempted to correct the notion that I accepted an offer to play an Asian.. (!!) the most significant and damaging misunderstanding out there, it seems. Beyond that, I don’t feel it appropriate for me to add anything, certainly at this point.

But I would love to know what ideas you – or anyone you know –  have of something properly progressive to bring to this table. The debate is so important for all of us. It needs to build itself on strong ground.

I’m totally unfamiliar with all the comic books so I can’t speak on anything about that – and the efforts to make this film more diverse is unfortunately lost in the translation here. Hopefully that comes up more when the film comes out and is finally brought to audiences! 

I think that it’s just a timing thing – Asian Americans are fed up with not being given roles even if the part called for someone of Asian descent  – and that the Ancient One role was being used as another example of ‘whitewashing’. Social media has grown to the point where we can use it effectively to express – well whatever. 

I believe very much that you as an artist are about diversity and your body of work shows that – but this particular case of the Ancient One is just another in a long list of ‘whitewashed’ Asian characters and so you’re likely to feel the heat of history. 

I am not sure what to say other than I am glad you want to meet the issue head on – it’s a tough one I know.

I think that talking about the issue frankly – as you have done with me is the right way to go. It’s hard I know – people get very angry and it’s difficult to know what to do to get around that anger. But you should know that it’s anger built up over many many years of invisibility within film/tv/media that’s just exploded now with this film. And it’s not just you – It’s also directed at Scarlett Johanssen for Ghost in the Shell.

Maybe what’s best is the highlight the diversity that you do see in the film and that being why you felt drawn to the project.

Also acknowledge that you’re all about diversity and how you want the films you make to be diverse and how film can benefit from that.

I’d even suggest getting into producing content that would give Asian American voices a platform? That’s really what is being asked for. Asian Americans feel as if we have no place in film and so we want one to be created. Whether that is found in supporting projects that would bring Asians into the foreground or even just discussing what it would take to do such a thing would help.

Luggage Company Hartmann Releases New Glider Technology

ON THE MOVE: Hartmann, the heritage luggage brand based in Massachusetts, has invented a new technology to make its suitcases “glide,” in a way it claims will have a significant impact on the travel accessories industry.
The brand’s new technology “system,” called StrideAlign, features wide-set, low-profile wheels that prevent cases from tipping over and create an ease of motion.
The company patented the technology and has applied it to its Ratio and Ratio Classic Deluxe collections, with iterations called Glider cases. These designs were unveiled last month at the Travel Goods Association trade show. Widespread retail distribution is expected this month, with product priced from $ 525 to $ 650.
Mark Salander, vice president of design and product development of Samsonite, parent company of Hartmann, said of the product: “Hartmann specifically developed this luggage technology, shape and style with the road warrior in mind.
“I’ve traveled through countless airports and have personally watched travelers struggle in the process. No matter how luxurious their luggage is, the experience is still cumbersome. Taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, the photos were shot in Anmer Hall, Norfolk, earlier this month.
Princess Charlotte is shown sitting on a gingham chair wearing a print dress and a pink cardigan alongside a stuffed animal.

Royal Family Releases First Photos Of Princess Charlotte With Prince George

Yep, they’re siblings all right!

The British royal family on Saturday released a new photo of Princess Charlotte and her older brother Prince George, the first to feature both siblings together. It’s also the first public photo of Charlotte since the days following her birth in early May:


According to The Telegraph, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, took the photo of her children herself in mid-May, when little Charlotte was only two weeks old.

“There was a very warm public response when Princess Charlotte was born, which was very much appreciated by the Duke and Duchess, and so they wanted to share this with the public,” an unnamed royal source told the paper.

Kensington Palace teased the photo of Charlotte and George on Twitter prior to its release, referring to it as “very special” and adding, “Can’t wait to share it with you!”

Prince William and Duchess Kate currently reside in Anmer Hall, where they’ll raise their young family — aided by a full-time nanny — for the next few years, BBC reports.

Singer-Songwriter Matt Gold Releases ‘Low’ Video Inspired By His Personal Relationships

Indiana-based singer-songwriter Matt Gold says the video for his new track, “Low,” is inspired from “having been broken down” in his relationships.

The song, which was released in April, melds Gold’s haunting melodies with personal lyrics. The out musician, who has developed a cult following with performances on college campuses and in intimate venues across the nation, hopes the tune once again expresses “the overall human experience” as opposed to anything specifically gay or queer.

“While a pat on the back or a hug can ease your pain for a second, no one really knows what is going on inside,” Gold told The Huffington Post in an interview. “They can say they relate, but can they really?”

In a music scene that has embraced openly gay performers like Sam Smith and Adam Lambert, Gold says he is ultimately happy to be “making music that is authentic to who I am” and “grateful for anyone, gay or straight, who understands my message.”

“Everybody has something to bring to the table, and hopefully I am something you come back for,” he added.

Christina Aguilera Releases New Ballad, ‘Anywhere But Here’ For ‘Finding Neverland’ Album

Christina Aguilera takes on Neverland in her latest song “Anywhere But Here.”

The singer released the lyric video for the new song on Tuesday, which is Aguilera’s reimagining of the opening song from Broadway musical “Finding Neverland.” Matthew Morrison of “Glee” sings the original song in the stage production, which follows the story of author J.M. Barrie, the man behind Peter Pan.

Aguilera is just one of the many musical names contributing to the Broadway show’s concept album. “Finding Neverland the Album” also features music from Zendaya, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez and Trey Songz, Nick Jonas, and more. The album comes out on June 9.

Prince Releases New Song About Baltimore, Freddie Gray

Prince released his new protest song about Freddie Gray and Baltimore to the world on Saturday.

The track, simply titled “Baltimore,” features upbeat, Prince-funky instrumentals combined with direct lyrics that deal unflinchingly with recent current events. A sample: “Does anybody hear us pray for Michael Brown and Freddie Gray?”

The release of “Baltimore” comes a day ahead of the legendary artist’s performance at Sunday’s Rally 4 Peace benefit concert in Baltimore, which will stream on Tidal, Jay-Z’s new streaming music service.

Under Armour Releases Kevin Plank’s Earnings

BANKING ON PLANK: Under Armour Inc. founder, chairman and chief executive Kevin Plank continues to distinguish himself in ways other than the wealth he’s amassed, estimated most recently by Forbes to be $ 3.2 billion. The company’s definitive proxy, released by the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday, notes that Plank last year drew his customary annual salary of $ 26,000, “which was his approximate salary when he founded the company” in 1995. Plank compensates for this relatively paltry sum in other ways. The UA chief owns 36.2 million shares of the company’s stock, 16.8 percent of those outstanding, according to the proxy, and worth $ 2.76 billion as of Friday’s closing price of $ 76.05.
His modest take-home pay notwithstanding, he managed to boost his total earnings 11.5 percent to $ 3.6 million in 2014 as a doubling of his stock awards, to $ 1.6 million, was enough to offset a 19 percent reduction in his cash bonus, to $ 1.9 million.

Starbucks Releases New Drink Called The Flat White… WTF Is It?

Starbucks kicked off 2015 with a jolt of caffeine, thanks to a new drink unveiled Tuesday morning. We wouldn’t have it any other way, of course, but we feel an explainer is in order.

The new drink is called a “Flat White,” and it’s a kind of espresso beverage that originated in Australia in the early 1980s. According to a Starbucks statement, the Flat White “is an espresso beverage made with two ristretto shots, combined with a thin layer of velvety steamed whole milk and finished with a latte art dot.”

It apparently has an “intense coffee flavor” (perfect for Starbucks addicts everywhere) and has been served in Australia since 2009 and the UK since 2010. It’s regarded as Australia’s signature coffee drink, and one visitor described their first taste of a Flat White as “such silkiness, such balance of milk and espresso, such richness and flavor mixed together in a blend of smooth and velvety goodness.” YUM.

A grande Flat White with whole milk comes in at 220 calories, 11 grams of total fat and 17 grams of sugar. The drink is for sale nationwide and pricing may vary depending on city.

Siamese Spots, Queer Female Music Duo, Releases ‘Banter’

Are you ready for this ground-breaking queer female music duo?

Siamese Spots hit the scene earlier this month with their debut track “Banter” — and we’re big fans.

The twosome is comprised of openly transgender artist Chase Marie, who has previously been featured on HuffPost Gay Voices, and Tahlia. The pair hails from the trenches of Oklahoma and cites bands such as Nine Inch Nails and Sleater Kinney and Garbage as influences.

The band is currently writing their debut record, which will be out sometime in 2015.

Marvel Releases A Full-Sized Teaser For The ‘Ant-Man’ Trailer

After whetting our appetites with an ant-sized teaser for the upcoming “Ant-Man” trailer, Marvel has now released a version fit for human eyes. In the spot, Paul Rudd walks alongside some police officers, ocean waves roll, and a couple of people shove each other. The shots will, presumably, have a little more context in the full trailer for the film, which debuts on Tuesday, Jan. 6, during the premiere of “Agent Carter” on ABC.

“Ant-Man” hits theaters July 17.

Madonna Releases Six New Songs In Response To ‘Rebel Heart’ Album Leak

Unfinished mixes of Madonna’s upcoming album, “Rebel Heart,” appeared on the Internet this week after leakers decided they couldn’t wait until spring 2015 for the Queen of Pop’s “MDNA” follow-up. In the wake of their actions, Madonna randomly released six new songs off the album, immediately available for purchase on iTunes and other online retailers.

“I was hoping to release my new single ‘Living for Love’ on Valentine’s Day with the rest of the album coming in the spring,” Madonna said in a statement. “I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift.”

The released tracks include “Living for Love,” “Ghosttown,” “Devil Pray,” “Illuminati,” “Unapologetic Bitch” and “Bitch I’m Madonna,” featuring Nicki Minaj. Producers include Madonna, herself, Diplo, Kanye West, Billboard, Dahi and Blood Diamonds. In an Instagram post that has now been deleted, Madonna reportedly described the leak as “artistic rape”:

This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo’s half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?

“Rebel Heart” will be available for purchase during the first week of March, and Madonna will release more new music on Feb. 9.

Daniel Franzese, Mean Girls Star, Releases Hilarious Sam Smith Spoof Featuring San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (VIDEO)

Mean Girls star (and Internet-meme master of all time) Daniel Franzese has taken his “Bye, Felicia” routine to new heights today with the release of “Please Go Home,” a parody of Sam Smith‘s meteoric hit from earlier this year, “Stay With Me.”

The spoof stars Franzese and actor Adrian Anchondo, with cameos from all kinds of San Francisco queers, including the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.

Daniel Franzese made headlines in April when he officially came out publicly as gay, and then again in August when it was announced that he would be joining the cast of HBO’s Looking for its second season.

Lea Michele Releases Song, ‘You’re Mine,’ For Cory Monteith (AUDIO)

Lea Michele has released a moving new song dedicated to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

The “Glee” star said the song had been one of Monteith’s favorites before his death last year of a drug overdose at the age of 31.

On it, Michele sings:

And I told you all my dreams and fears
And you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears
And you said those three words I’d been waiting for
You became a part of me, yeah

“It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory,” she told Elle in November. “It was ours. When I think of him, I play this.”

The song will be featured on Michele’s new album, “Louder,” which drops on March 4. But on Monday, she took to Twitter to tell fans they could listen to it now.

“Louder” also contains a song called “Cannonball” that Michele said helped her cope with Monteith’s death, MTV News reported last December. Another tune, “If You Say So,” refers to the last words she heard from him.

“It’s a very personal and it’s a very intense song for me,” she told MTV News.

Ironically, “You’re Mine” almost didn’t make the album. Michele told Elle that when the label asked if she wanted to add anything else to the album, she realized she had to include the song.

“I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t,'” she said.
