Donald Trump Gives Sean Spicer His Final Kiss On ‘SNL’

Sean Spicer’s days as the White House press secretary could be nearing their end, and “Saturday Night Live” did not pass up the opportunity to imagine what they’d look like.

After teasing her “SNL” appearance this week by rolling (literally) through the streets of New York, Melissa McCarthy popped out of the bushes and reprised her role as Spicer once again this week.

McCarthy, who was hiding among the bushes as Spicer, interrupted Aidy Bryant’s stint as Sarah Huckabee Sanders ― President Donald Trump’s political aide who took on the press this week after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

After booting Sanders from the stage, McCarthy’s Spicer aggressively fielded questions from the press, but things got dicey when reporters started asking the press secretary if he was afraid of losing his job like Comey.

Spicer defended his boss, saying that he endures POTUS’ abuse because they’re friends. But the questioning eventually leads him on a journey to the streets of New York, then a golf course in New Jersey, to ask Trump once and for all what his future at the White House looks like.

Long story short, it ended with Spicer’s final kiss.

“I don’t think I can do this anymore, Mr. Trump,” Spicer told Alec Baldwin’s Trump. “They’re saying that you’re going to replace me with Sarah.”

“Sean, come on, I would never do that,” the president replied. Sarah Huckabee Sanders “doesn’t have your special spice: Salt and pepper, a little bit of sugar.”

“Sean,” Trump said. “Kiss me.”

In the clip above, watch Spicer’s final moments in the Trump administration, as imagined by “SNL.”

Howard Stern: Sean Spicer Speaks ‘Fluent Moron’

Sean Spicer isn’t getting much love from Howard Stern after claiming Hitler didn’t use chemical weapons while speaking during a recent press conference.

Stern said Wednesday on his Sirius XM radio show that Trump’s press secretary speaks “fluent moron” and is “embarrassing” the president.

“When I heard [the Hitler comments], I was like, Trump’s got to fire this guy, I think,” Stern said.

The 63-year-old shock jock said Spicer managed to achieve a difficult goal: Make Syrian president Bashar Assad “look good” by comparison.

According to Stern, Spicer’s stupidity shifted the conversation from Assad’s atrocities against his own people to the question of how Spicer could “not know that Hitler marched his own people … to concentration camps and turned on chemical gas.”

“It was somewhat remarkable that a guy this high up in the administration wouldn’t know this,” Stern said. “The guy’s just not informed, and it’s kind of embarrassing ― it’s just embarrassing.”

Stern quickly added: “But it’s entertaining as hell.”

Later, Stern invited staffer Sal Governale on the mic, asking him how he’d compare to the current press secretary. “You speak fluent moron, and so does Sean Spicer,” Stern concluded.

Sean Spicer Sends Distress Signal To America With Upside-Down Flag Pin

During Friday’s White House press conference, Sean Spicer sent Twitter into a frenzy when he wore his American flag pin upside down. Though Spicer’s unfortunate move was likely accidental, an upside-down American flag is an officially recognized sign of distress.

Almost immediately, everyone on Twitter began making the same joke about what kind of signal Spicer was trying to send.

The upside-down flag was recently used in a promotion for the next season of “House of Cards,” so of course the Netflix show tweeted about Spicer’s mishap:

Spicer’s error was flagged down during the press conference and he quickly fixed it. According to Yahoo White House correspondent Hunter Walker, Omarosa Manigault reportedly passed Spicer a note about the error.

We know Melissa McCarthy and the “Saturday Night Live” writers are just loving this new material.

Searches For ‘Betrayal’ Spike After Spicer Is Asked To Define It

Press Secretary Sean Spicer may not want to define the word “betrayal,” but Merriam-Webster will gladly do so.

The publishing company said that the look-ups for the word “betrayal” had spiked on Jan. 31, shortly after a press conference with Spicer.

In the conference, Spicer addressed the recent firing of Acting Attorney General Sally Yates. President Trump fired Yates for refusing to defend his executive order barring refugees and others from seven majority-Muslim nations, and for sending a letter opposing the ban to the Department of Justice.

Trump issued a memo about Yates’ refusal that indicated she “betrayed the Department of Justice.”

After a reporter asked about Spicer’s use of the word “betrayal” regarding Trump’s assessment of Yates’ actions, another asked, “Why use the word betrayal?” This led to Spicer being asked to define the word. He insisted he wouldn’t.

But, as dictionaries are wont to do, Merriam-Webster is here to educate us on what it all means.

Their definition is as follows:

Betrayal is the noun that came from the verb betray, which has several meanings, including ‘to deliver to an enemy by treachery,’ ‘to fail or desert especially in time of need,’ ‘to reveal unintentionally,’ and ‘to disclose in violation of confidence.’ Betrayal means ‘the act of betraying or fact of being betrayed.’”

So, there you have it. You can infer for yourself whether or not it was the right word for what Yates did. These are just the facts.
